Floral Corsage For Boudicca, London Menu Next
A Floral corsage was designed for exhibition with BOUDICCA’s spring/summer collection of 2007 :An artificial Paradise.
The basis of inspiration for BOUDICCA’S collection was the exploration of the tension between the virtual and physical worlds. Richard was invited to create a floral corsage drawing from the same sources, which would complement the garments on show.
The paper flower comprises three identical modules, which are folded and glued together. The join between each petal provides a hinge, so they are free to open and close.
